"Я" ("Me") is the new EP. Four tracks about meanings, life and death. The material turned out to be, probably, the most gloomy over the whole discography. The tracks were written in the period from 11.2021 to 01.2022.
Я. ("Me") "I choose to live by my own rules. I am my support-no-excuses." It's about choosing myself, as I am the most central and important person in my life. Only I can take care of myself, only I can put my desires, goals and needs into action. Only I can assert my boundaries and not allow others to intrude into my life with unsolicited advice and actions. Yes, it's about selfishness, but there's nothing wrong with selfishness, not to be confused with self-centeredness (when the world revolves around me and everyone owes me). No, it's about the author's attitude toward himself, responsibility for himself and getting rid of infantilism. You can sit and suffer and wait, or you can get off the couch, get off your ass, go and change your life.
Поклонение Смерти (Death Worship). Despite the scary title this song is of course about life and the motivation to do something. Death is something that happens in everyone's life, unfortunately these are the rules of the game. And of course we are afraid to think about it, because it is the final point of the current existence. What's beyond it is unknown. So I think the fact that you will eventually die is a good way to evaluate all your actions and inactions. And there are no rules, no right/wrong attitudes. There's just you and your inner world, there are things that respond specifically to you. That's why I think every day should be lived as "Play the game like it's the last time." Yes, it may not be available right away, because expectations and reality don't match, but you can come to it step by step. When I wrote this track, I thought I must have created an anthem for my life. And I'm very proud of the piano part, it's the best thing I've ever composed.
Идеалист (Idealist). I think probably all of us have heard a lot of limiting lectures to ourselves since childhood. What is right and what is wrong. Some agreed with it, because "grown-ups never cheat," some were perplexed as to why that was the case. But social pressure is certainly stronger than the psyche of a young child. And as a result, we do what we are forced to do, for the sake of someone else's expectations. We carry that cross and betray our true needs and goals. Okay, if you've somehow managed to wake up on your own along the way, you've met people who have been able to illuminate that you can do things differently, or you've reached the point where it's time to go into personal therapy. And if you haven't?
"Know that you crucified yourself.
No one forced you to do it."
Навсегда (Forever). About death. It echoes the "Worship of Death" track. I think this phrase will allow you to reflect and wake up, "You can't live this life again. Live, create, love and be in reality, not in illusions.
